SPECIAL OPERA TRIP

Annapolis Opera is planning a trip on February 7, 2016 to see Opera Philadelphia's east coast premiere of Cold Mountain, by American composer Jennifer Higdon, at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia.

Baritone Jarrett Ott, who played Guglielmo in Annapolis Opera's 2015 production of Cosi fan tutte, will be covering the role of Inman. He was part of the workshop development of the piece, and also performed the role at its New York preview.

Choice of seats are $225 for Parquet/Orchestra seats or $110 for 2nd Tier Center Balcony seats. These prices also include round-trip transportation.

Payment is due at the time of reservation. It may be possible to order additional tickets after August 10, but there is no guarentee. Tickets are nonrefundable.

CHORUS AUDITIONS

Annapolis Opera is pleased to announce Chorus Auditions for Gounod's Faust on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 10 AM to 4 PM at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts.

Online applications will be accepted August 1, 2015 through September 16, 2015 (midnight).

Applications must include a resume and headshot, and selection of two works (any opera aria, operetta piece, or song) of contrasting styles and tempos, one of which MUST be sung in French.

Selected applicants will be invited to audition by appointment. Applicants will be notified of their audition status no later than September 18, 2015.

FIFTH ANNUAL SINGABLE FEAST

A gala evening that begins with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and a silent auction, followed by a wine-paired four-course dinner and live auction. A concert featuring Annapolis Opera Vocal Competition winners, soprano Diane Kalinowski and tenor Matthew Vickers, will be the highlight of the evening, following the dinner.
